The length of homeopathic treatment very much depends on the case details. Every case is different. To help you figure out what will have an impact, try to think of these questions:

  • How long have you been ill? The longer you had your condition, the longer it will take to cure it.
  • How deep is the pathology and organ / tissue damage? It takes time for your body to repair organs, so if there are structural changes, prepare to wait a bit longer.
  • And how strong is your vitality? The amount of strength and energy you have will affect the ability of your body to respond to the stimulation of the remedy.

Remember, homeopathic remedies don’t ‘fix’ you. Instead, they act as a catalyst, your own body does the healing.

Usually, young children respond to the treatment quicker than an elderly person. Often, when you give a good remedy to a teething baby who can’t settle, the reaction is immediate, and it looks miraculous. A case of rheumatoid arthritis with a 10-year history will take much longer to improve than an acute food poisoning.

Even though I cannot promise a quick fix, I will do my best to clearly explain what you can expect from homeopathic treatment. The healing process takes time. Homeopathy is not magic. A colleague once said “We are homeopaths, we are not Harry Potters”, and I couldn’t agree more. During homeopathic treatment we make sure that the healing is jump-started and happens as quickly as possible, but it still requires some time.

Typically, I expect to see improvements within 3 or 4 monthly consultations when dealing with a chronic condition. After that, we assess your progress and work out further homeopathic treatment plan to suit your rate of healing.
